Henchmen
From Guild Wars - Wiki on Neoseeker
Henchmen are the various NPCs that can join you on your quests and missions through explorable areas when finding a team of adventurers is not ideal.
The level of these NPCs is dependant upon your location, as are the available henchmen.
To recruit them, click their name and in the party panel (P), press the "+" symbol.
While on missions the henchmen take a share of gold and items you gain.
